Here is the six easy ways to be more creative.

Learn how to relax.

It may seem odd that we need to learn how to take a break. But in our 24/7 always-on culture, some people simply don’t know how to relax. Ironically, for them doing nothing is painfully hard. When we are struggling, instead of doubling down on our efforts, we might consider pausing the action – even for a minute. Do not fight with these natural rhythms. Just flow with it if you do so we can use them to our advantage.

Have a Sound Sleep at night.

Lack of sleep is killing us; Does it sometimes seem like you are sleeping a lot less than you used to? Nowadays on an average we sleep 2 hours less compared to the last couple of decades, mainly due to the advancement of modern gadgets, it’s one of few draw backs of advancement in technology on our modern lifestyle.

Keep a tight sleep schedule of not less than 8 hours. Say no to white screens and try to avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol late in the evening. Have your dinner by at least 3 hours prior to sleep. Sleeping on an empty stomach is considered healthier than eating too close to bedtime.

Stay hydrate.

Drinking enough water is crucial for many reasons, as recommended by world Health Organization an adult’s water intake as per their weight is 1:20 ratio, 1 liter per every 20 kg, so if you weight 60 kg then you should drink at least 3 liters of water daily.

By staying hydrated you regulate your body temperature, prevent infections, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood which is every vital for creative thinking.

Engage in activities that bring you joy and inspire your creativity.

We quite often hear people say “I work hard and then I can Play hard” for many people there are essential things and then there are enjoyable things but essential things can be enjoyable too once we can find joy and inspiration out of it. So, it’s not just about those recreational activities are enjoyable but also that tedious and overwhelming tasks too, provided if you wire your thoughts and trigger your creative thinking in harmony with the tasks in hand.

Surround yourself with people and environment that inspire and support your creativity.

Let’s go of negative relationships identify positive people, get outside of your comfort zone if required, get yourself surrounded by people who make you happy, make you laugh, lift you up, lend you knowledge, and help you learn from mistakes.

The people and the environment which you choose to surround yourselves with eventually shape the way you think, behave, and feel.

Practice gratitude and focus on the positive aspects of your life to help foster a creative mindset.

“Gratitude is the best Attitude” Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness is the quality of being thankful.

Look for positives, acknowledge the good that you already have in your life. Family, friends, health, and wealth.

Even in the worst (chaotic) situations gratitude reminds you to hold on to the good things.

Creativity is the ability to make a new thing a method, a solution or an object, form or device which may be  tangible or intangible. In this modern age of technology, we live in a world full of opportunities which would never be accessible to humanity ever before. As human beings our thinking process is purely maneuverable, and creativity is often a by-product of it.
